Madan Dogra (Faculty)

Madan Dogra is a well-known personality associated with theater who has been giving his commendable contribution in theater and related activities for the last 4 decades. In the year 1984, he started his theater journey with the plays organized by the signature group. Showed his active participation in various workshops organized by Sahitya Kala Parishad for professional training and has worked as an 'A' grade artist in Parishad Rangmandal. As an artist, he worked with various theater organizations like Kadam Group, Aastha Theater Group, Circle Theater Company, Rangbhoomi, Collegiate Drama Society etc.
You have acted in more than 60 plays as an artist with well-known theater directors like Shekhar Vaishnavi, Chittaranjan Tripathi, Satish Anand, Avtar Sahni, Bapi Bose, Suman Kumar, Surendra Sharma, J.P.Singh, Ravi Taneja etc. By working in I have strengthened my hold in theatre. In which a stalled decision, my brother my friend, investigator, Tota Bola, Kissa Maujpur Ka, Godan, Emperor Ashoka, Konark etc.
As a director, he has directed many plays like Yatana Shivir, Aakhrial Path, Sardarji, Kal College Band Rahega, Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Na Maro, Jashne Akbar etc.
Awarded Best Actor Award by Punjabi Academy Delhi Government for the year 2011 and Best Actor Award by Hindi Bhawan Ghaziabad for Kissa Maujpur. Awarded with Natsamrat Samman 2020 for Best Actor by Natsamrat Sanstha. Honored with Guru Samman in Drama for the year 2022 by Sanskar Bharti
He has also been very active in children's theatre (Bal Rangmanch). He has worked as a director with children in theater workshops organized by Sahitya Kala Parishad and Punjabi Academy, Delhi. Presently conducting workshops in schools and NGOs of Delhi. He is a voice over artist in the drama department of All India Radio and has dubbed for many animation serials, among which Tenali Raman, Swaraj, Panchatantra etc. are the main ones. He is also actively involved in television media. He has dedicated his whole life to theater
